Nothing more than a friendly reminder that the Brewfest is a’ comin’ and that you should buy your tix ahead of time if you really want to be there. For more details, including where to buy your tickets, you can read my original post on it, or go to their website (or, look carefully at the graphic above, for that matter). Tickets are also available online. Good news- they’ve upped the number of tokens (= samples) to 20- so no complaining. If you’re determined to be a slacker and buy your ticket at the door, well… better get on line pretty early- doors open at 1:00, taps at 2:00. Stop on by the Beer-O-Vision table, and say hi!

I meant “sorry” not “so”
Polish mead? As I recall from last year’s brewfest, it was a hit!
Beerfest was the best day of the year but with the token system, our group isn’t going.
Eric-
I hear ya- $20 for 20 3oz samples isn’t the same as $20 for all you can line up for and drink. In four hours (2-6pm), 20 samples is a sample every 12 minutes, and I’m sure you could do better than that.
However, this brings the brewfest in-line with most of the well-respected brewfests out there, that is, it makes it a tasting more than a slug-a-thon. So while you (and your donation to a good cause) will be missed, I have to think that it is a step towards putting the Buffalo Brewfest on the craft-beer map, in the end.
From what I was told, the event got large enough to get noticed by the state liquor board, who require the token system.
